2021 Twizel Hard Labour Weekend Cancelled due to Covid restrictions

We will fully refund all entries already paid. We discussed transferring to next year but it is easier for us to refund and then you can rebook next year.

We hope that anybody who can, still makes it to Twizel and enjoys the outdoors over the Labour Weekend.

The most disappointing aspect is all the sports teams (and individuals) we support through Sport Twizel normally fundraising $25,000 per year. Basically any school sports team needs a 4 hour return trip to compete against other teams – the problem of living is such a spectacular but remote part of Aotearoa/NZ l. Sport Twizel has just purchased a brand new 12 seater van to make it easier for these teams. Sport Twizel contributes to many costs associated with sports in Twizel.

We have had tremendous support from our sponsors – THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!! (many we are still in the process of contacting). Some sponsors have already expressed their support that they will still donate their prizes, which we will auction on TradeMe and the money will go to Sport Twizel.
